The award symbolises lifetime academic respect and exceptional innovative leadership. Awardees may use the DFA postnominal, participate in high-level networking and academic mentoring, access IARSAC publications and professional development platforms, and join an exclusive cohort of professionals engaging with peers and thought leaders. Selection: nomination (peer, professional, or self) → review of career accomplishments and research output by the honours committee → formal conferment at a ceremony.
